Billy Whims songs glow in the dark, with all the mystery of overgrown backyards. These gardenbeds are where she grows her melodies by day, among guitars, keyboards and violins.The rain comes often in Hobart, Tasmania, as does the wind, taking her songs to near and far places about Australia and now the world.
Billy Whims has played with the likes of Grand Salvo, Peter Joseph Head, Milk Teddy, Sophie Koh, Tiny Vipers (US) and more. There are records to her name, first the EPs "Crocodile Style", "It's Only Night" "Earthquakes" and the soon to be released debut album "What We Made" with 12 songs of indie-folk-pop imaginings.
