A Dutch girl from Paris, she’s played there for a couple of years with her band, little jazz clubs or supporting the "crème" of French pop artists (TéTé, La Grande Sophie, Arman Méliès...).

Now in Melbourne, she's hooked up with talented young musicians, a groovy vocalist, and plays around as a 7-piece.

And it's so much fun to watch, the stage is filled with characters who are contagiously enjoying the crowd and themselves. Anna Moot's is talking in her funny accent, guitar strapped around her pink jumpsuit and fingers glued to the MPC, the band (the Manna Oots) is supporting the quirky songs energetically, and everybody is smiling, including you.

She finally went into the studio to "document" all of this:

"Shaken&Taken" is the debut album and translates perfectly what it does to you.

Definitely not going unnoticed, they appeared at the Hoopla event and St Kilda Festival this year while also playing the club circuit.
